[Sourcetree] We couldn't connect to GitHub with your (username) credentials.

소스트리에 계정 등록할 때 인증 방식을 basic으로 하여 아이디와 비밀번호를 입력한 뒤 저장했을 때 발생

 

해결법

github - settings - developer settings - personal access tokens에서 토큰을 생성한 뒤 나오는 토큰 값을 복사하여 비밀번호로 넣어 저장

 

토큰 값을 비밀번호로 넣는 방식이 2021년 8월 13일 부로 삭제
